The Alumni
There will be a massive photo taking sessions for all Cedarians (old and new) at the National Stadium at 4pm this coming Saturday. They say once a Cedarian always a Cedarian. And without a doubt, those were the most amazing four years of my life.
And what better way to reminisce the good old days than to capture moments at the old glorious track. Not that I was part of the school team or anything but I was amongst the sea of smurf(ettes) who lost their voice every single year at the grand stand knowing that I was part of something really really special.
Like a pride rock embedded in each of our hearts, there will always be that streak of rebellion that made us who we are, regardless of who we grew up to be. The boys used to say, date a Cedarian to make her happy, not to make him happy. We learnt, we learnt.
And I am looking forward to take the trip down that memory lane~
Aaaahhh i totally get what you mean! I used to zealously show up every year at the national stadium to root for my school too. But our experiences differ… That being my school was and probably still is at loggerheads with cedar :p
